Pack Trips

rivercrossing.jpgYour summer backcountry adventure awaits you! You can spend 3 to 10 days among broad valleys and massive mountains in country that has been little visited since the days of the mountain men. Beginning at Turpin Meadow Ranch, you’ll depart on horseback behind a string of pack mules into the wilderness. When you reach camp, you’ll discover comfortable tent accommodations and hearty meals. And with our professional, personable wranglers and packers, you’ll have an unforgettable trek through the majestic setting of the Teton Wilderness Area of the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

Special Features of Your Trip Include:

• Exploring the countryside of the Bridger-Teton Wilderness just south of Yellowstone National Park
• Fantastic views of wildlife, including bald eagles, red-tailed hawk, elk, moose, mule deer, and bear
• Evenings of camaraderie and story-telling around the campfire
• Fly-fishing for cutthroat trout in the waters and tributaries of the South Fork of the Buffalo River, Enos Lake, and/or Crater Lake
• Trips of varying lengths and destinations
